ADB COMMENCES THE COOL BASE COLD STORAGE & OFFICE PROJECT – A MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE SOLUTION FOR THE COLD CHAIN INDUSTRY

On August 28, 2025, Anh Duong Building (ADB) officially commenced the Cool Base Cold Storage & Office Project at Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone, Ho Chi Minh City, marking a new milestone in the development of industrial cold storage facilities integrated with modern office spaces.

On August 28, 2025, Anh Duong Building (ADB) solemnly held the groundbreaking ceremony for the Cool Base Cold Storage & Office Project – a high-tech facility designed to meet stringent technical requirements for deep-cold storage, while integrating modern office spaces optimized for efficient operations and management.
The ceremony took place in a formal setting with the attendance of representatives from the Investor, ADB’s Board of Directors, the project management team, as well as partners and related stakeholders. The event not only marked the official commencement of the project, but also demonstrated the strong commitment of all parties to delivering a critical infrastructure facility aligned with the growing demands of Vietnam’s logistics and cold supply chain industry.

The Cool Base Cold Storage Project is developed as a four-storey high-bay cold storage facility, positioned as a pioneering cold storage – production – office complex within Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone.
The project is oriented to become an optimal solution for the storage, preservation, and distribution of goods under low-temperature conditions, meeting stringent requirements in terms of technical standards, safety, and operational efficiency. One of the project’s key highlights is its cold storage system, designed to maintain stable temperatures down to –25°C, supported by an internationally standardized automated control system. This solution enables the facility to accommodate a wide range of storage needs, particularly for frozen foods and products requiring strict preservation conditions.

In addition, the project adopts an advanced thermal insulation structural system using PU/EPS panel materials that meet international standards, enhancing thermal retention, minimizing energy loss, and optimizing long-term operational costs. The mechanical, electrical, and monitoring systems are invested in a synchronized manner, including energy-efficient lighting systems, main electrical panels, and automated monitoring systems, contributing to safe, stable, and efficient operation throughout the facility’s lifecycle.

The project is also designed with flexible functional spaces and clear zoning between frozen storage areas, chilled storage areas, and receiving – sorting – packaging – loading/unloading zones. This layout helps optimize operational workflows and improve overall productivity. The office block is designed in a modern style with a glass façade system, meeting criteria for comfort, aesthetics, and sustainability, while creating a professional working environment for the management team and staff.
