As the city is still asleep, the sounds of machinery already echo across the Coolbase construction site in Tan Thuan Industrial Park. Under the sun and wind, young engineers quietly dedicate themselves to the project every day, monitoring every work package, inspecting every detail, and racing against time to ensure the project is completed on schedule.
Behind the increasingly completed structure lies the dedication and coordinated efforts of an entire team, including many passionate and talented young professionals.
Coolbase is one of the projects directly constructed by Anh Duong Building (ADB) in Ho Chi Minh City, one of Vietnam’s most dynamic construction markets. Here, every project must meet stringent requirements in terms of quality, technical standards, safety, and delivery schedule.
Having worked on the project for nearly a year, engineer Trinh Trung Tan has been involved from the very beginning through to the current finishing stage. As the project enters its final phase, the pressure has become greater than ever.
According to Tan, the biggest challenge is maintaining construction progress while ensuring quality standards and managing manpower effectively. All materials delivered to the site are subject to strict inspection procedures before use.

Among the most demanding technical challenges were the 8-meter-high open atrium area and the installation of a 28-meter-long roof truss system within a confined construction space. To ensure absolute safety, the team utilized two 150-ton cranes simultaneously for each lifting operation, while all construction methods were carefully assessed and reviewed beforehand.
During peak periods, the site operated like a continuously running machine. Every individual had a different role, but all shared the same goal: delivering the project on schedule and demonstrating the professionalism and dedication of ADB’s workforce.
The Spirit of ADB
Elsewhere on the site, engineer Chuong Cun Sang diligently oversees the project's mechanical and electrical systems—the lifeblood of the building. Having spent five years with ADB and worked on Coolbase since its inception, Sang understands both the challenges and the pride that come with such a demanding project.
Throughout the construction period, prolonged rainfall affected infrastructure works and exterior finishing activities. At the same time, strict requirements for interior and finishing works demanded exceptional effort from the site team.
Despite frequent adjustments to plans and schedules to accommodate changing requirements, the team remained committed to finding solutions and moving forward.
For Sang, every project is like a “child” that deserves complete dedication and care. He believes that every member of the team must give their best to ensure the highest quality before handover.

This spirit of commitment is reflected in every brick, every weld, every steel structure, and every technical system that has been carefully installed and tested throughout months of hard work.
As Coolbase approaches completion, every aspect of the project—from structural works and architecture to technical systems—is being closely monitored and coordinated to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.
For ADB’s young engineers and workers, completing a project on schedule is not the final goal. More importantly, it is a testament to their capability, responsibility, and determination to continuously achieve higher standards in the construction industry.
